2 August 2014ರಂದು ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ‘ಸಂಸ ಬಯಲು ರಂಗಮಂದಿರ’ದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಸಭೆಯೊಂದನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿ, ನಿಷ್ಣಾತರಿಂದ ಅತ್ಯಾಚಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿರುವ ಕಾನೂನು, ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಮತ್ತು ಪೋಲಿಸ್ ಇಲಾಖೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸವಲತ್ತುಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಅನಾನುಕೂಲತೆಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ದೊರೆಯುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದು ಜನದನಿಯ ಮೊಟ್ಟಮೊದಲ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಗಾರವಾಗಿದೆ.

For the Government and the judicial system to take suitable action to curb a heinous crime like rape, experts are needed to provide proper suggestions and recommendations.
In this regard, to increase awareness to prevent rape and to fight against the menace, JANADANI had organized a public meeting on 2nd Aug 2014, at the Samsa Auditorium in Bangalore.
Experts in the fields of law, police, and medicine were invited to provide important information about handling and responding to such incidents. The occasion was marked by collecting the signatures of the assembly for a memorandum containing very important recommendations for prevention of rape, to be submitted to the Government.
